10 Day long combined annual training camp for the cadets of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) inaugurated by 9, Tamil Nadu Battalion NCC, Karaikudi at our Shanmuganathan Engineering College, Arasamaptti, Thirumayam on 16-10-2024.

       Around 500 cadets from Pudukkottai, Sivangangai and Ramnad districts representing 17 NCC units took part in the camp. The objective of the Annual training camp is to prepare the cadets for upcoming certificates in February and March 2025. The cadets will receive the training in drill, weapon handling, field craft, battle craft, hygiene and live firing.

       The camp is conducted under the supervision of Lt.Col.SK.Mishara, the Commanding Officer of 9, Tamil Nadu battalion NCC, Karaikudi.
