Anti-Ragging Policy
Shanmuganathan Engineering College maintains zero tolerance towards ragging in any form. Every student has the right to learn and live on campus in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
Students must not participate in, encourage, conceal, or ignore any act of ragging. Any concern should be reported immediately to the Principal, faculty members, wardens, or the college anti-ragging committee so that prompt action can be taken.
Student Responsibilities
- Treat every student with dignity and respect
- Do not engage in verbal, physical, online, or psychological harassment
- Report incidents without delay
- Cooperate with institutional enquiries
Institutional Action
- Immediate support for affected students
- Confidential review of reported concerns
- Action in accordance with applicable regulations
- Awareness and prevention programmes
