Library and Information Centre

Shanmuganathan Engineering College’s 'Library and Information Centre' is a hub of knowledge, providing students with access to the latest resources and technologies that meet international standards. The library houses an extensive collection of 37,377 volumes, spread across 8,244 titles, ensuring that students have access to a wide variety of academic material.

To keep students updated with current research and developments, the library subscribes to 42 national and 42 international journals. Additionally, students can access over 850 online journals and e-publications, offering a comprehensive digital resource platform. For broader reading, major newspapers and 700 back volumes of journals are also available.

The library's collection extends to conference proceedings and 1,500 CD ROMs, providing students with multimedia resources to enhance their learning experience. With this diverse range of materials, the Library and Information Centre serves as a vital support system for students’ academic and research needs.
