At Shanmuganathan Engineering College, all students undergo an intensive 60-hour training program each year, tailored to their current level of study. This training covers key areas such as communication skills, aptitude techniques, soft skills, interview techniques, and technical skills, ensuring students are well-prepared for the professional world. This structured program is conducted during the first, second, third, and fourth years of study, allowing students to gradually build a comprehensive skill set. By the time students reach their final year, they are fully equipped to handle any campus interview with confidence.
In addition to year-round training, the Placement Cell collaborates with departments to invite industry experts and academicians for guest lectures and workshops, providing valuable insights into current industry practices and trends.
The Placement Cell, along with departmental placement coordinators, provides extensive support to recruiters, ensuring a smooth recruitment process. This includes managing all logistical arrangements for tests, pre-placement activities, and final interviews, thereby offering seamless assistance to both students and recruiters.
