Assessment of Performance
At Shanmuganathan Engineering College, students’ academic progress is closely monitored through a structured assessment system. Weekly and monthly tests, along with model examinations, are conducted to evaluate students’ understanding and mastery of the course material. These regular assessments not only reinforce learning but also help students identify areas for improvement well in advance of their university examinations. By preparing students with this consistent evaluation approach, we aim to build their confidence and readiness for academic challenges.
Feedback:
The college ensures active communication between the institution and parents/guardians regarding the academic and attendance performance of students. After each assessment, detailed feedback, including test scores and attendance records, is shared with the parents or guardians. This transparent system allows parents to track their wards’ progress, identify any areas of concern, and provide necessary support to help students achieve their academic goals.
