The strength of Shanmuganathan Engineering College lies in its dedicated and committed faculty, who are deeply invested in the success and well-being of students. With genuine care and a passion for teaching, our faculty members serve as a source of inspiration and motivation, guiding students towards academic and personal excellence.
The college boasts a team of well-qualified, highly experienced, and devoted faculty members across all disciplines. Among the approximately 50 faculty members, we are proud to have 7 PhD holders, while 10 faculty members are currently pursuing their PhD.
Several university gold medalists also enrich our teaching staff, further elevating the academic standards at SEC. With a favorable staff-student ratio of 1:15, students receive personalized attention and mentorship.
To broaden student perspectives, SEC frequently organizes guest lectures by eminent professors, scientists, industry experts, and educational administrators. These lectures expose students to the latest advancements and trends in various fields.
Students also benefit from industrial visits and are encouraged to undergo in-plant training at reputed organizations. Additionally, technical clubs and department associations provide students with platforms to enhance their skills, engage in practical learning, and collaborate on innovative projects.
