Attendance is a crucial part of academic success at Shanmuganathan Engineering College, and students are expected to maintain a high level of commitment to their studies. The following rules apply to attendance:
Limit on Leave
Students are strongly advised not to take leave for more than 6 days in a semester. Leave should only be taken when absolutely necessary, and students must obtain prior permission from their HoD, Class Coordinator, or Mentor before taking leave. This ensures that absences are tracked, and students are held accountable for their attendance.
