ICT Academy – Infosys CSR Program

The Inaugural Ceremony of the ICT Academy – Infosys CSR Program was successfully organized on 30th July, 2025 at our Shanmuganathan Engineering College. The event marked the beginning of a valuable industry-academia collaboration aimed at enhancing employability skills among students.
The ceremony commenced with a prayer song, setting a divine tone for the day. This was followed by a welcome address by Mr. S. Saravanakumar, HoD – CSE (I.C), who warmly greeted the gathering and highlighted the importance of the initiative.
The Presidential Address and Felicitation were delivered by our respected Principal, Dr. KL.Muthuramu, who appreciated the efforts of ICT Academy and Infosys in providing students with industry-relevant opportunities. The highlight of the program was the Keynote Address by Mr. V. Poornaprakash, Deputy General Manager, ICT Academy – Tamil Nadu.
He spoke on the significance of skill development and how ICT Academy’s CSR programs with Infosys are transforming student capabilities across the state.
The Inaugural Ceremony continued with the formal unveiling of the program by the dignitaries on the dais, symbolizing the official launch of the CSR initiative at our campus.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. N. Chellappandi, Assistant Professor – CSE.
The inaugural event was well-organized and attended by csr, students, and dignitaries, marking a significant milestone in our institution’s journey towards academic excellence and industry partnership.
