80th Independence Day Celebration

• The nation's 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great pomp, enthusiasm, and patriotic fervour at Shanmuganathan Engineering College.
• The event commenced with a welcome address by the College Principal, Dr. K. L. Muthuramu. College Director (Administration), Thiru M. Pichappa, and Secretary, Thiru M. Viswanathan, presided over the function, while Dean Dr. A. Murugappan delivered a special address.
• Dr. Pichappa Manikandan, Correspondent of the College, hoisted the National Flag and delivered the Independence Day address, highlighting the history of India's freedom struggle and the crucial role of youth in nation-building.
• Dr. R. Senthil, Professor at Anna University, Chennai, attended as the Chief Guest and delivered a highly inspiring speech that motivated the students.
• Department heads, professors, administrative staff, and a large number of students attended the event with great enthusiasm. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. A. Muthumanickam, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
