Shanmuganathan Engineering College Students Honoured for Securing First Place in Pudukkottai District Chief Minister's Trophy Football Tournament
The students of our Shanmuganathan Engineering College, who secured the first place in the Pudukkottai District Chief Minister's Trophy Football Tournament, were felicitated and presented with cash prizes by the college management today (November-6).
The District-level Chief Minister's Trophy Football Tournament was recently held in Pudukkottai. Students from the Shanmuganathan Engineering College, Arasampatti, Thirumayam, participated in the event.
The winning students were: Panneer Selvam, Sevugaperumal, Gajendran, Akash, Suryakumar, Rajkumar, Sakthivel, Rajapriyan, Muruganandam, Ashwin, Vasanth, and Muthupandi. They played an exciting match against the Pudukkottai Government Medical College team in the finals and emerged as the champions.
Out of the participating students, six were also selected to represent the college in the subsequent State-level competition.
