Shanmuganathan Engineering College

The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a Guest Lecture Programme on 14.03.2026. The resource person for the session was Dr. D. B. Sivakumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, University College of Engineering BIT Campus, Anna University, Tiruchirappalli.
He delivered an insightful lecture on the topic “Internal Combustion Engines: Evolution, Challenges and Sustainable Future” and interacted with the students by sharing his knowledge and experience in the field.
The programme began with the welcome address by Dr.E.Mohan, Head of the Department, Mechanical Engineering, who welcomed the gathering and introduced the guest speaker.
The session concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr.JB. Arunpandiyan, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
