Self-Confidence Motivational Speech
- The monthly self-confidence motivational speech for first-year students at our Shanmuganathan Engineering College was held in the college auditorium on October 31, 2025.
- Dr. N. Vennila, the First-Year Coordinator, welcomed everyone who attended the event. The Principal of the College, Dr. KL. Muthuramu, presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. Dr. G.Maheswaran, Dean of the Civil Engineering Department, offered felicitations.
- Dr. Maha Sundar, Secretary of the Pudukkottai Tamil Sangam, attended the event as the Chief Guest and delivered the keynote address. During his speech, he said:
- The success and failure of every individual depend on their mind and thoughts. If one believes that a task can be accomplished, that endeavor will surely succeed. Therefore, students should always cultivate positive thoughts in their minds.
- Every student's parents have great dreams for them. Despite not having a formal education themselves, they have sent you to college amidst various hardships so that their children can excel in education and reach a higher position in life. For many in India, a college education remains a dream.
- However, you have reached the college threshold without such obstacles. Therefore, it is in your hands to give meaning to the sweat and blood of your parents and create a good life for yourselves.Choose good friends. Do not forget that good friendship is the strength of your life. Plan your student life and work hard. You will surely succeed.
- Finally,Mrs. Ramya, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, delivered the vote of thanks. A large number of first-year students, heads of departments, and professors participated in the event.
