Shanmuganathan Engineering College

The Saraswathi Pooja and Ayudha Pooja celebrations were held grandly today (Sep. 30, 2025) at our Shanmuganathan Engineering College, Arasampatti, Thirumayam.
Saraswathi Pooja, the festival dedicated to worshipping the Goddess Saraswathi, the deity of knowledge and wisdom, is celebrated with great fervor across the country every year. Following this tradition, Saraswathi Pooja was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Shanmuganathan Engineering College.
The college campus was adorned with festive decorations, featuring colourful rangoli and flower garlands, setting the stage for the Saraswathi Pooja celebration.
The event, held in the college library, was presided over by the Correspondent, Dr. Pichappa Manikandan. The college Secretary Mr.M. Viswanathan, and Principal Dr. KL. Muthuramu, graced the occasion.
Special prayers and rituals were performed for Goddess Saraswathi, who was beautifully decorated in the library hall. Everyone worshipped the Goddess with deep reverence.
All Heads of Departments, Professors, staff members, and a large number of students participated in the Pooja. Furthermore, special Poojas were conducted department-wise and Admission Cell to worship Goddess Saraswathi.
Similarly, Ayudha Pooja was celebrated with enthusiasm, with the college buses decorated for the occasion. All the college drivers and maintenance staff participated in and made the Ayudha Pooja celebrations a special event.
