Shanmuganathan Engineering College

An on-campus recruitment drive was successfully organized by the Training and Placement Cell of Shanmuganathan Engineering College on 29th October 2025. The drive was conducted in collaboration with TVS Upasana Ltd., Hosur.
The program commenced with a prayer song, invoking the blessings of the Almighty, followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Mrs. R. J. Iswarya, Training and Placement Coordinator. She extended her cordial welcome to the Principal, Chief Guest, faculty members, and the final-year students from the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), and Mechanical Engineering departments who participated in the drive.
The Presidential Address and Felicitation were delivered by Dr. K. L. Muthuramu, Principal of the college. He appreciated the efforts of the Placement Cell and encouraged the students to utilize such recruitment opportunities to launch their professional careers successfully.
The Keynote Address was given by Mr. N. Saravanakumar, Senior Executive – HR, TVS Upasana Ltd., Hosur. He highlighted the company’s operations, work culture, and the expectations from new recruits. His insightful address motivated the students and gave them a clear understanding of the skills required in the industry.
After the formal session, the recruitment process began with a written test, followed by face-to-face interviews for shortlisted candidates. A total of 38 students from ECE, EEE, and Mechanical Engineering departments participated in the selection process. Out of these, 34 students were successfully selected for placement at TVS Upasana Ltd.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by Mr. R. Rajapandian, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, who expressed gratitude to the management, the Principal, the HR team of TVS Upasana Ltd., and all faculty coordinators for their continuous support and cooperation.
The program ended with the National Anthem. Overall, the recruitment drive was a resounding success, providing an excellent platform for students to interact with industry professionals and secure promising career opportunities.
